Mahabalipuram: Anatomical Beauty of Architecture

    If Mahabalipuram is called a city of temples, there may be no obscurity. Or, call it the saga of architecture and beauty. Whatever the city of Tamil Nadu, Mahabalipuram is full of four-dimensional artistry. Magnificentness- There is no link to Divinity.  

   Yes, in Mahabalipuram, various aspects of religion-spirituality, architecture-architecture and art are described. 
     Perhaps this is the reason that Mahabalipuram is the main attraction of tourists in the world. Mahabalipuram is also called Mamallapuram. Particularly, the beauty of the ocean coast makes Mahabalipuram four. Mahabalipuram, situated about 55 km from the capital of Tamil Nadu, is on the banks of the Bay of Bengal. 
     This seventh century city was once the capital of the Pallavas. Experts believe that this city has been the best in terms of Dravid architecture. There is a large range of attractions around Mahabalipuram and its surroundings. Among them are specially Arjun Penens, Shor Temple, Pandav Rath, Krishna Mandapam, Cave, Statue Museum, Muttukadu, Kovalong etc.    Arjuna Penance: Arjuna Penance holds a reputation for exquisite carving. This place is 27 meters long and 9 meters wide. This whale is a huge stone-shaped fish-shaped shell. Various types of figures, including humans, animals and birds, are formulated on this boulder. It enjoys the glorious tomb of the country.    Shore Temple: Shore Temple is considered the best in the ancient temples of south India. This temple is situated on the banks of Mahabalipuram. This eighth century temple is considered a wonderful example of Dravid architecture. Particularly there are two Shiva temples here. In the middle there is a temple of Lord Vishnu. The waves of the sea collide to the temple. Looking at the waves of the ocean, it appears that like the waves are the activities of the Lord to shine.    Pandav Rath: Pandav Rath is the main site of Mahabalipuram. This place is located in the southern part of the city. Seeing the shape type it is called Panch Pandav Rath. Particularly, four of the five chariots have been designed on a huge rock. Among them, Draupadi is the Arjun Rath square. Dharmaraj Rath is the highest.     Krishna Mandapam: Krishna Mandapam is a magnificent temple of Mahabalipuram. A magnificent-divine temple has been constructed by cutting the boulder. The temple's rate-o-deewar is a mark of rural movement. Shri Krishna ji has also been mentioned. In which he is holding the Govardhan mountain on the finger.     Crocodile Bank: Crocodile Bank also has its own distinct recognition. Located on Chennai Road, 14 kilometers from Mahabalipuram. Experts believe it was founded by Romulus Vitekar of America in 1976. In the period of one and a half decade of establishment, the number of crocodile increased by more than one and a half thousand. Initially there were 15 crocodiles. There is also a form of snakes nearby.     Varah Caves: Varah Caves specifically highlight Lord Varah Avatar. This cave is dedicated to Lord Vishnu's Varna and Vaman Avatar. Mahisasur Mardini Cave of the Seventh Century is also famous for carving.    Statue Museum: More than 3000 structures of local artists are stored in the statue museum. These idols are specially visible in them. The sculptures displayed in the museum are of wood, bronze and concrete.    Kovalong : Kovalong is a beautiful place about 19 kilometers from Mahabalipuram. Mainly it is the remains of the fort. Despite being the remains of the fort, beauty is also unique. Tourists can fulfill the hobby of swimming, sailing and water sports.    Dance festival : Dance festival is the main festival of Mahabalipuram. Generally this dance festival is held in January-February. The top performers of the country perform a magnificent art of Shore Temple complex. The sound music of the musical instruments and the waves of the ocean are drunk. Audience looses happiness in this dance-concert.
    All necessary resources are available for traveling to Mahabalipuram. The nearest airport is Chennai. Mahabalipuram distance from Chennai airport is about 60 kilometers. The nearest railway station is Chengalpattu. The distance of Mahabalipur from Chengalpattu railway station is about 29 kilometers. Mahabalipuram can also be visited by road.
