Bekal Fort: Fantasticly Beautiful Structure

   This beautiful fort is located on the Arabian Sea coast of Pallikkare village, about 15 km south-east of Kasaragod. Experts believe that the Bekal Fort was organized and constructed by Shivappa Nayak. Due to its proximity to Karnataka, the strategic importance of Bekal Fort remained special from Vijaynagar.  

   It is also recognized that Bekal Fort was present during the reign of Kolathiri kings. Bekal Fort's divinity-grandeur is very birding.
