Bageshwar : Wonderful and Unique

   If the Bageshwar is called the Mahatirth of the Hindus, there may not be any superstition. This holy land is called the land of Lord Sadashiv. 

   Bageshwar is the spiritual, mythological, historical, and especially religious importance of the city of Uttarakhand in India. The city, built at an altitude of 1004 meters above sea level, is quite amazing and unique. 
  Bageshwar is literally located at the confluence of three rivers. Saryu river, Gomti river and latent Bhagirathi river are flowing in Bageshwar. 
   It is believed that only the sight of the holy land of Bageshwar gets freedom from sins. It is believed that in the Puranas, there is a comprehensive mention of Bageshwar's Mahatma. 
  The saying is that from the philosophy of the holy land of Bageshwar, one becomes free from the eternal bondage of birth and death. 
   Bageshwar is actually a small town but its religious importance holds the fame of the peak. Bageshwar has special religious significance because of the union of river Saryu, Gomti river and Bhagirathi river. Although Bageshwar is recognized as a big market too. 
   Saryu river is believed to have attained liberation by bathing in the river Sarayu. Plus, the virtue of Ashwameh Yagna is achieved. Drinking suthyu Satoguni water is the result of the somapana. 
  It is believed that if someone dies during this pilgrimage, then he gets the fame of Lord Sadashiv. Bageshwar Tirtha literally exists between the Sun Tirtha and Agni Tirtha. In the east of the city, Bhuleeshwar Mahadev, Nileshwar mountain in the west, Sun Kund shrine in the north and Agni Kund pilgrims in the south direction are present.
  Particularly there is also an ancient temple of Bageshwar Nath in Bageshwar. Bageshwar Nath is also called Bagnath and Baghnath. It is believed that Lord Shiva took the form of a tiger and this place was called as Baihaar Baasha. In time, this was changed to Bagishwar after it became Bageshwar.
   It is believed that in the period of time, Muni was bringing Sarayu from Brahmma's Kendal to Vashishta Tapasya on earth. Seeing the auspiciousness of Rishi Markandey in the path, the mother Saru stopped there. Muni Vashishth prayed to Lord Shiva, Lord Shiva took the form of a tiger. In addition, Parvati ji was given cow formation. According to the storyline, the tiger attacked the cow. 
   The cow on which the cow bursts. The austerity of the sage Markandeya broke on this. As soon as Rishi Markandey ran to save the cow, Lord Shiva abandoned the form of the tiger and became manifest in the form of Shiva. Parvati also manifested itself after sacrificing the form of the cow. 
  Rishi Markandeya appeared on Shiva and Parvati. After this the mother could move forward. There is a long series of attractive and religious places around Bageshwar.
  Baghnath Temple: The Baghnath Temple is actually an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was built by King Lakshmi Chand of Almora.
   Surya Kunda and Agni Kunda: Surya Kunda and Agni Kunda are literally natural troughs born from Saryu River.
  Chandika Mandir: Chandika temple is located about 5 kilometers from the city of Bageshwar. The devotees of the devotees look here in Navaratri.
  Srihar Temple: Srihar Temple is also an attraction of Bageshwar. A huge fair is organized here on Vijaya Dashmi.
  Gauri Udera: Gauri Udara is an ancient cave. In it there is the ancient temple of Lord Shiva. This place is located about 8 kilometers from the city.
   All necessary resources are available for the visit of Bageshwar. The nearest airport is the Pant Nagar Airport. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam Junction. Tourists can also travel by road.
