  This very ancient and beautiful fort of Jammu and Kashmir city of India is considered very special in terms of tourism. The structure of Bahu Fort based on the Garhwali architectural style is very visible. This structure of lime and brick is very ancient. 
  The Bahu Fort, located about 325 meters above sea level, is based on thick walls of sand stone. Octagonal towers and bastions are installed on these thick walls of huge stones.   Mahakali Temple: Mahakali Temple is a famous place in the inner region of Bahu Fort. Its power is the recognition of the back. The architecture of this temple, built on a platform of about 1.2 meters in height, is very visible. It is believed that this temple was constructed between 8th and 9th century.
  In the past this temple was a practice of animal sacrifice. However it was later discontinued. Kada (pudding) is offered here in Prasad. This temple is also called Bhava Mata. The significance of this temple is second only to Vaishno Devi. This temple of Mahakali is one of the famous Kali temples in India.
