   Unakoti should be called the rainbow dimension of carving art. Yes, the beauty of Unakoti is amazing and unique. 

   Unakoti, located about 125 km from Agartala, the capital of the Indian state of Tripura, is in fact an ancient mythological heritage and estate. There are rare views of beautiful rock cut carvings here. Unakoti literally means less than one crore. 
   It is special that this 7th and 9th century beauty craft has global fame. In fact, Unakoti is also considered an ancient pilgrimage place for Hindus. Reason: This ancient structure of the beauty scripture is dedicated to the Gods and Goddesses.

  Lord Shiva told the craftsman that if one crore statues are structured in one night then he will be able to go to Kailash. 
   So the craftsman kept sculpting the idols throughout the night. In the morning a statue came out in the count. Hence the craftsman Kalu Kailash could not go. In this way, the craftsman Kalu remained on the earth, but this structure made the craftsman Kalu immortal. 
   Perhaps this is why this place is called Unakoti. Unakoti is considered one of the best trekking tours. The special thing is that Unakoti is counted among the mysteries of Northeast India. 
   However this beautiful dimension of Indian tourism has been unknown for a long time. Apart from being a marvelous and unique sculpture, Unakoti holds an important place in religious terms. Other deities including Lord Shiva are duly worshiped.
